Pros

- Chance for store covers as they are understaffed - Great teams that you can hire/choose yourself - Fun product and usually happy customers - Lots of stuff you can learn as it’s very dynamic

Cons

- 24/7 availability expected - Pressure during sickness and holidays - Greenwashing and false promises - I have seen heavy staff issues and there was little help - High risk of burn out and mental health issues - Manipulation and harassment - I was asked to come to work while on sick leave - No respect for a work life balance - Outdated understanding of work and ethics - A sexual harassment case was handled like this: “don’t let them work together until contract ends” - An employee which has stolen a product next door got promoted right after the incident - IT department is useless and can only help via phone from Spain - Store was chronically understaffed as salaries are kept on the lowest legal level - Lost all senses of a human being / can not be trusted at all - Many colleagues left with a legal fight - Company will simply fire you with no reason (best have a legal insurance)
