My experience with this company was extremely disappointing. During training, the environment felt completely different. Managers were welcoming, supportive, and made it seem like employees were valued. Questions were encouraged, concerns were heard, and everyone made it sound like this was a great place to work. Unfortunately, once you transition to the floor, that support seems to disappear. Communication from management becomes almost nonexistent, and the culture quickly becomes discouraging. A lot of time is spent hearing employees talk about each other behind their backs while still pretending everything is fine face-to-face, which creates a very uncomfortable work environment. The job itself is not difficult, but the expectations and constant inconsistencies make it unnecessarily stressful. One supervisor will approve something, while another will tell you the exact same thing is wrong. Getting assistance can take a long time, yet you can see supervisors gathered together talking while employees are waiting for help. Then employees are coached about hold times and performance metrics, which feels incredibly frustrating. The expectations placed on employees are unrealistic. You are expected to handle back-to-back calls for nearly seven hours with very limited time for anything outside of calls, while also managing quality standards, handle times, call volume, documentation, and situations that require additional follow-up. Many calls require extra steps, but employees are still held to strict time expectations. The attendance policy is also extremely stressful. Requiring documentation for every single absence creates an environment where employees feel punished for being human. People can wake up sick, have severe symptoms, or genuinely need a mental health day without necessarily needing to go to a doctor every single time. The physical work environment was also disappointing, including cleanliness issues that should have been addressed. What makes this experience especially frustrating is that the actual job duties are manageable. The biggest problems come from the company culture, unrealistic expectations, lack of support, and policies that create unnecessary stress. A workplace should not leave employees feeling anxious, unheard, and burned out. I hope management takes a serious look at employee morale, communication, support systems, and the policies that are contributing to such a stressful environment.
