Pros

They serve their clients extremely well.

Cons

The office culture is one of low moral. The CEO and tenured leaders take pleasure in public ridicule. The benefits package is too expensive to cover family members. Employment safety and well being is not a consideration in comparison to profit. Turn over rate exceeds 50% in a given year.

Pros

The server occasionally works , I guess.

Cons

I came to CGi with a long resume and a promise from my new CEO and his directors -- encouraging me to introduce new ideas and change. That encouragement was quickly soiled with the reality that they do not want to change a thing. They honestly believe that their standards and achievements are higher than any Fortune 500 company in existence. The CEO is a big fish in a small pond but he would have you believe he is a whale making huge waves in the Atlantic. In reality, it's a small company with one client that matters (after the CEO's ego) and a few other tiny clients that get very little attention. I really wish the employees still there would realize that there are much better employers, CEOs, benefits, and pay scales out there.

Pros

Co-workers are like family, very supportive and encouraging of one another, as they don't get that from upper management.

Cons

Upper-level executives post positive reviews on here at the instruction of the CEO, which I personally heard them dictated to do so, yes, it's true. The work hours are long and employees are not rewarded in any way for the long hours they attribute to their jobs. It's expected. They arrange and work conferences but, even when flights are delayed and employees don't get back in until midnight the night before, they're expected to be in the office at 8:00 a.m.! There is no flexibility -- 8-5 M-F. There is no provision to work from home for any portion of time, even though almost everything could be done from home and there literally is not enough space in this house-turned-office for everyone to have an office. They're pretty much crammed in to small rooms. The upper-level management seems to think they're the only ones who matter. They dictate and everyone must follow. There is no "exchange of ideas" or transparency. Transparency is one of this company's values ... the only transparency is between executives, no employees. The turnover rate is over 50%. I can only advise you to pay close attention to the reviews and don't be fooled by the few positive which, when you really read them, you can tell were completed by company management. In a company with only 30-50 employees, there should never be a consistent exit rate of 15-20 people per year!
