Cons

Poor management -- especially in HR and in the upper eschalons of the church administration and a true lack of transparency. It is very much a country club membership to be an employee here...doesn't matter your skill set/experience, its all in who you know.

They are understanding with family emergencies

Cons

Misogynistic, homophobic, fatphobic, and very racist work environment. Any of these kinds of jokes/comments could be made and accepted, and to stand up to a problematic comment would be much more offensive. Women here cannot move up very much. A large number of the male employees will talk down to female employees. Opinions/ideas from men are much more acknowledged and respected than those coming from women. Valid complaints/issues can be easily dismissed as a sacrifice for the mission of bringing people to Jesus.
