Pros

An abundance of useful training available online (through CCIU Moodle) & in-person, mostly by seasoned professionals with BCBA credentials.

Cons

Unfair/unethical treatment of contractors who are vulnerable to the 'at-will' firings - not in clients' best interests, but rather, power plays that are a gross misuse of authority.

Employees don't matter.

Pros

Good pay, flexible hours especially if you have kids, good experience if you intend on staying in the field, ability to work with amazing clients.

Cons

Bureaucratic red tape endlessly. You're extremely important when they have cases that they need filled but soon as something goes wrong, they nit pick and try to find fault. Everyone lives in fear of losing their job. They move people around with out options or their consent. There's no support from the case managers and no advocates for the BSC's or PCA/TSS. You are at the upper management's mercy if you want a job. No appreciation for their employees.
