Pros

Good pay and benefits. Great support IF you are producing and hitting goals consistently. Great perks provided by the company and its partners.

Cons

Initial training was lacking and inconsistent. Work/life balance is difficult. In my office, rudeness and disrespect was the norm. I felt demeaned and undermined on a regular basis. Working every Saturday and Sunday is expected. Difficult to take a day off.

Don’t drink the kool aid

Pros

They give you free stuff and throw parties a lot. The catering is good. They are a handful of good people who work there who aren’t completely superficial.

Cons

They give you free stuff and pay you crap. They lie about how much you’ll get paid, they actually pay only about half what they tell you they will but keep their employees appeased with gifts and lavish parties. The sales “team” is like a spoiled harem of stepford wives who all worship the CBH god. Leadership gives a lot of lip service to work life balance but then churn and burn through women, use them up and then spit them out. I saw 5 people get fired without cause and without warning in a 3 month period.

BEYOND TOXIC WORKPLACE

Pros

Free things at meetings, but that is really the only pro and that was only to cover up for how bad they actually were treating you!

Cons

Hands down the most TOXIC place I have ever worked. The only people treated okay are those that are “favorites” of upper management. If you are not a “favorite” you are treated maliciously. I have never been talked down upon and made to feel so horribly about myself like I have here. You are threatened with being fired to act a certain way, lie to potential homeowners, and answer surveys for best places to work. You are also told how you should vote in local elections in a way that will help builders. Also, the sales people talk about people that come in looking for a home in horrible ways and don’t actually care about the people that are buying a home.
