Pros

I loved teaching students. That is the only reason I'm giving two stars.

Cons

This is like an on-call job even though we never signed up for that. The boss calls you off whenever student attendance falls low. The administrator will do anything to save money. You can even be called off on the same morning or asked to work on your day-off. They use you for their financial gain.

Pros

1 hour breaks. Get to write lesson plans, observations and they offer college classes to get certified for lead teacher or to be teacher certified. Great for your first daycare experience when you are in your teens or in college .

Cons

Really suffer when there is a staff shortage, once they have a lot of staff you will get to leave early which is good on some days but not all, plus the days you leave early you only get paid for the time you were there. There are NO benefits at all. Management really doesn't help with the discipline of the children in the classroom when the teachers are having trouble. Little pay for what you are responsible for and for duties your have to do. You are expected to take work home if you do not have time to do it throughout the day but you do not get paid for that. No overtime pay. Lots of drama between employees and management.
