      Good People, Weird Time for Publishers

      The people working at Bustle are great

      Cons

      Publishing is not doing well and layoffs were more frequent than anyone wants to see. Alot of great people laid off.

      Interesting work (if you are on the right team), strong co-workers, decent benefits

      Cons

      I work remotely so I am shielded from some of the craziness, but there are clearly a lot of shifting priorities and that causes some whiplash. I wouldn't recommend this for a first job, but if you have been around the block it's fine. Seems like somewhere most people stay for only 1-2 years and I'll probably do the same.
