      High demand agricultural products, good place to work.

      Pros

      Significant autonomy, good benefits, good pay. Good people, down-home friendly employees. Very few personnel issues.

      Cons

      Owned by a parent company that makes capital investments (new equipment, major repairs, etc.) challenging to accomplish. Old buildings (some as old as 1954) that are costly in labor and money in upkeep.

      Pros

      Looking to improve, opportunity to take on more responsibility leading to more experience.

      Cons

      Leadership during my time was very forward thinking but fail short to understand the gap between retiring workforce and MES integration. Workforce not held accountable, hard to make sustainable improvements. Was told in many meetings during massive layoff all engineers were safe as we were needed to rebuild through restructuring, but was blind sided in the end of the layoff process.
