Pros

Overall, the employees are good people to work with. Management tends to be increasingly foreign-origin, which can be good or bad depending.

Cons

The company is a mirage, it is really a collection of overgrown small businesses. Poor treatment of employees by middle/lower management is largely ignored by upper management and owner. Cutthroat behavior is highly encouraged.

Pros

Good pay and benefits, though you won't see those rise for years at least. Cost, Cost, Cost is all that maters

Cons

Management, and disconnect. They hire lots of management that don't seem to do much other than talk, while cutting and/or not hiring the on the ground Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Shipping people that are leaving due to unreasonable workloads and indecision. Everything is decided by Memphis and they don't seem to care about satellite locations.

Pros

Used to be a stable, family-friendly, positive company.

Cons

"New" Buckman has become an environment of nervous workers, negativity, and back-stabbing others to make yourself look good. Employees are scared, afraid they will be the next loyal ones to be tossed to the curb.
