Pros

Coworkers, technology, equipment, training and free coffee

Cons

Too many managers and not enough brokers, tattletales, high call volumes, aggressive targets, micro-managing, expected to use your personal time to catch up if behind, measured on too many metrics, constantly compared to other brokers, bad name in the industry due to high turnover

Pros

Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Cons

They say it’s not a call center, but when you’re on teams, your calls are being monitored and you’re scored on your overall performance? If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck….trying to be an effective manager for a team of people who are in offices hours away, doesn’t work. People are over worked, stressed out and unhappy. Upper management asks for input on how to be more relevant., but they don’t listen. Customers complain about the phone system, but it doesn’t matter….even though they are “customer driven”. Too many meetings, managers, emails, one on one conversations, call reviews…not enough hours in the day. But you’re supposed to spend 80percent of your day with your team. Do the math. I was not cut out for the Brokerlink way, I tried. When your job takes over your life and affects your health, gotta go.
