Strong leadership focused on growing in the right way. Relatively flat org structure allows employees to make as big an impact as they desire, no matter the experience level. Expectations are high, but the work is rewarding and the team is very close (especially for a primarily remote organization).
Cons
The onboarding process could be a bit more structured/robust
BrightNight is a work environment that is truly unique based on what I have seen. The company is composed of highly experienced and talented individuals. Many of the leaders have spent much of their careers gaining valuable experience and they now have a strong desire to employ this experience and build something the right way. It is truly refreshing to feel like every decision made is purely value driven and makes a difference. I have found myself working a lot not because I had to, but because I enjoy it so much and enjoy the people I work with as we are all working towards a common goal. The leadership at the top is truly unique and exceptional, as is the remote work environment with the periodic touch points at great locations.
Cons
Health benefits are more in line with a smaller growth company but I would expect that to evolve as the company grows.
