Pros

-great employee discount -offered insurance to full and part time employees

Cons

-corporate workers are very disconnected with the stores and throw them under the bus with the higher ups -budgeted hours don't support the workload of the stores, places a lot of stress the workers -run too many $50 off $100 sales too close together, this generates no profit to be able to support the store with more hours in the schedules -the store won't back it's own policies, exceptions are always made for customers who are verbally abusive -HR doesn't allow for a way to let go of poor employees

Pros

The people I work with at the store level are extremely friendly and welcoming. The employee discount is 20% and goes to 25% after 1 year.

Cons

Hours are terribly inconsistent. One week I'll get 35 hours and the next I have 3 with no warning. All time off requests must be in a month in advance and we only get our schedules 1 week in advance. I have been working there for a year and I'm never late, I don't slack. I only make $7.50! Corporate is terrible at making sure wages are high enough and that employees are appreciated.

Pros

I loved almost everyone in my department, but we cycled through 3 different managers in the 2 years I was there, and the last one was the reason I left. But, the work was easy, most of the customers were friendly, I didn't have too many problems with them. (Plus the 20% discount was cool!)

Cons

Some of the people they hired sucked. My manager would give me tasks to do and I would get them done so fast that he would just send me home, clearly they never had other employees that worked very hard, at least in my department. Also, my last manager bullied me so much I quit, otherwise I probably would have stayed at that job.
