Pros

Great group of smart developers. When a project is properly staffed it is a great experience.

Cons

Huge lack of communication, every manager will tell you something different so it's hard to know what to believe. Also need to hold all employees to the same standards, too many exceptions and excuses leave a handful of people picking up the slack. Lastly it's hard to come in on budget on anything when every estimate is cut before going to clients in order to win business.

Too comfortable to succeed

Pros

We are able to work from home. Lowertown St. Paul is a cool little neighborhood. This is a cake walk of a job - everyone here has it really easy. The president's only job (really, sad but true) is to bring donuts on Fridays - which most of us appreciate.

Cons

Upper management - although for the most part - means well, but they have no clue how to run a business. Projects are under estimated and crammed into a current workload where current projects are already under water.

Pros

- As a small company, engineers can work on a variety of projects (sometimes interesting/challenging, sometimes not), or often work on projects that utilize their skills - Opportunities to take on a variety of projects - Friendly workers who generally enjoy their work, relaxed atmosphere

Cons

- Entry/mid-level employees often underpaid - Many client projects are extremely uninteresting - The company is still growing, figuring out how be consistent across projects and have a hard time introducing/utilizing new/best-practice tools and techniques
