      From industry staple to a company missing a mission, purpose, and capability.

      Pros

      Passionate and caring coworkers were among the most driven and talented I have had the joy of working with. Unfortunately the most tenured and knowledgeable have all moved on.

      Cons

      A rushed and desperate divestiture to an incompetent private equity group destroyed the company, its mission, culture, and any internal remembrance of its accomplished story. Job seekers beware: all that remains here is a barren land void of transparency and communication.

      Amazing production setup and smart solution offering; and at one time, BDATech was an industry leader.

      Cons

      New ownership was intent on running off their executive management team and running that formerly great company into the ground.

      Pros

      Casual dress code with every other Friday off. Getting to meet customers to understand their requirements and impacts of our products.

      Cons

      Black Diamond took a downturn when Sagamore Capital bought the company. After the acquisition, Black Diamond seemed to shift to an accounting firm rather than an engineering/production company. The roadblocks created by the influx of accountants made simple request very difficult. Special accounting codes became more important than delivering good products to the warfighter. Most of the knowledgeable people have left for good reasons.
