Pros

You get to work in DUMBO. There is a coolness factor to being a player in the outdoor industry. Decent vacation policy. Work with great people.

Cons

Frequently lie to employees. Many product recalls. Irresponsible with money. Upper management (CEO, CFO, etc.) create an environment of distrust that everyone copies. All talk and no action. Culture of not listening to employees and not following through on commitments.

Pros

If you like having coffee there's plenty of it. There are 4 kinds of milk and a lot of cereal.

Cons

This is a miserable place. This company does everything in the wrong way. The culture here is dismal. Imagine the video from the first Trump cabinet meeting where the whole team is forced to say nice things about the company and management. This actually happens here. We make terrible products and charge the top of the market for them. We continually lose our best employees because of terrible management.

Pros

- Overall a nice crew of employees - Cool factor of working in emerging markets and outdoor market. - Flexible with hours

Cons

- Awful, awful management, from the CEO on down. He trashes directors, directors trash employees, and employees just hear the whispers about what was said about them. It has left many employees with no other choice but to leave. - Broken QA and ops processes that stay broken, despite countless defects and delays. The company has spent more time reworking products than developing them. - Sudden changes in the business model leave emerging markets like India high and dry.
