Pros

Senior Team is aligned

Cons

You are being warned, this company has a toxic culture, and you need to be aware of all claims and statements communicated. Everything is calculated, all geared to make things appear real, do NOT be fooled. These guys are great and presenting, marketing and communicating the right message, yet the culture is really toxic. STAY AWAY.

Thank you for your review. Glassdoor has a very good anti-fraud system, so we are happy to report that those positive reviews are 100% real. That said, I’m sorry you are having a negative experience at Berlin, and if you are indeed in Supply Chain in the Chicago area, I would encourage you to discuss this with your manager, and/or the Supply Chain leadership team who as you know are local. They strive every day to fulfil their side of the Berlin Values T-chart and are ready and waiting to hear you. Hopefully, you will become one of the people who genuinely do rate their experience at Berlin as 4 or 5 stars!

Pros

Growing company, descent benefits, fast paced( chaotic at times) but that makes you think on your feet. Great co-workers, quarterly bonuses based on growth over prior year, monthly prizes for buyer and account coordinators. Great worklife balance

Cons

extremely high turnover, lack of growth opportunities - each location has three basic office positions - account coordinator, buyer and sales. There is virtually little room for growth. This is a good company to start with and gain some experience, but would not recommend for someone who is looking for a long term career. The pay definitely does not reflect the amount of work you are expected to do - the saying "overworked and underpaid" truly applies. Pay raises are really not that great. Definitely a sales oriented business, sales is treated much better by everyone from the E-team on down - and it is clear as day. This is the most honest review of this company on glass door.

Pros

The CEO.....Too bad he has such a poor leadership team. Mixed goals, no alignment, fights in branch office, disrespectful employees, drama filled days, no growth despite how they try to “sell” you on the T chart or their acquisition growth etc. don’t fall for it.

Cons

Management doesn’t listen.... you’re told to challenge the status quo but that’s literally a joke. Everything is literally spun to be your fault despite your accomplishments or ranking on totem pole. Employees who leave consistently give same feedback and nothing is done. New HR team is a joke. Regardless of how many hours you put in you get treated like and they wonder why turnover is high. You do a job 6 months to cover a former employee and corporate decides the job can’t be backfilled. Corporate leadership is totally out of touch with branches. Just run....!!!! Don’t say you weren’t warned!
