Pros
Working in an industry supporting the vulnerable
Cons
I worked at this company with high expectations, but unfortunately my experience was deeply disappointing due to poor management practices and a toxic work environment. Leadership consistently demonstrated a lack of transparency, accountability, and respect for employees. Communication was often unclear or dismissive, and feedback was either ignored or met with defensiveness. There was a noticeable culture of favoritism, which created tension within teams and limited fair opportunities for growth and recognition. Work-life balance was frequently disregarded, with unrealistic expectations and little support from management. Instead of fostering collaboration and development, the environment often felt stressful and unsupportive, which negatively impacted morale and productivity. While there may be some talented individuals within the company, the overarching management approach makes it difficult to thrive or feel valued. I would strongly encourage leadership to reflect on their culture, improve communication, and prioritize employee well-being if they hope to retain talent and build a healthier workplace.
