Management is catastrophically incompetent. Producers/leads get promoted by playing buddy-buddy with the management clique and with each other, without showing any track record of skills or actually leading a successful project.
The environement is insanely political. Manipulation tactics are rebranded as soft skills and influence, and are placed way above integrity and competence.
Favoritism and double-standards rule the place. Some people are positioned well enough to believe that the principles of collaboration and respect towards colleagues don't apply to them.
There is a huge lack of game production expertise in the studio, and yet, there seems to be neither any drive, curiosity, nor openness to improve.
