Pros

Amazing clients Great training I’m only typing because it’s requiring a 20 word minimum in the pros section to submit this review

Cons

Constant drama Favoritism is extremely apparent Open door policy is not a policy. If you speak out against something you’re made to feel uncomfortable Lack of communication Lack of supervision on cases Admin team is fairly rude and unapproachable HR doesn’t have employees best interest at hand I’ve witnessed it go from being about the clients and what’s in their best interest to being about the money.

Pros

Kids are cute and lots of fun Some staff are pretty great

Cons

-Quality of service has gone down because their main concern is money -Staff aren’t even trained by BCBAs anymore -They treat employees like dirt (unless you’re a favorite) -Admin and CEO just cycle through their favorites -Practicum is basically nonexistent because they don’t want to pay students for indirect work, which is a requirement for students degree and certification -Higher ups like to gossip about employees and talk about the ones they don’t like -I bet they’re all reading this review and trying to figure out who I am so they can be passive aggressive and punish me without actually confronting the issue. THEN they’re going to ask someone to write a fake review to counteract everything I say. -They tell you one thing but do the opposite and don’t care how it affects anyone else -If you disagree with them or speak your mind you’ll be punished. No room for individuality or opinions over here! -Not HIPAA compliant. Let’s show employees who aren’t on a case the child’s entire binder and train them on programming even though they’re not actually joining that child’s team. -Dual relationships. CEO drinks with staff and RBTs (against ethical guidelines). Staff members have kids getting services (against ethical guidelines) -I went 7 months on a case without supervision (also extremely unethical) because my “supervisor” was too busy to come out of her office into the other side of the suite to provide support. -Open door policy does not exist! No matter how many times they say it’s there. If you use this ‘policy’ you get punished. -CEO doesn’t know how to keep her personal like out of her work life. -Abuse of power from multiple people in admin -They don’t even know how to use the basic principles of ABA with their staff. Instead of reinforcing the good things they focus on the bad and punish people instead -Cater to complaining parents and throw their BCBAs under the bus (especially if the family mentions leaving to find services elsewhere) because they want to make sure they don’t lose the money but then they’ll complain about these parents later -Oswego clinic smells like cat pee -Growing entirely too big too fast and it’s obvious the only concern here is money -They just want convenience and whatever’s easiest for them instead of what’s truly best for the clients

Money and chaos are top priority

Pros

1. You don't have to be smart to get promoted 2. You don't have to work hard to keep your job 3. You will rarely see a BCBA or the owner 4. Decent pay

Cons

1. Lazy co-workers get written up but then nothing else happens 2. Admin is more concerned with money than quality 3. You rarely see a BCBA 4. If you are a practicum student don't waste your time here, admin ruined it a few months ago 5. The owner told us "I like my company like I like my family, dysfunctional" 6. Leads are treated great, but no one knows what they really do 7. Staff trainer position was eliminated and now new hires are trained by other RBT's. BCBA's are not involved. 8. Practicum was supposed to help me get ready to be a BCBA, I feel like I know less than I did when I started because admin changed expectations, and now my professor gives me a hard time about my indirect time every week. 9. Oswego clinic is dirty, and smells like cat pee 10. Aurora clinic doesn't have enough bathrooms to accommodate the staff and kids 11. Warrenville clinic windows look directly into the therapy areas and are not covered. Kids can be seen from the road. This can't be HIPPA compliant. 12. One of the Aurora Apple teachers is sarcastic and rude and is allowed to treat staff terribly. Admin has done nothing. 13. Surveys are sent out to provide feedback, but admin does nothing with the results. It's clear they don't care. 14. Good co-workers are leaving and being replaced with people who are lazy, incompetent, and only want a paycheck 15. As RBT's we are treated like we don't matter 16. No incentives 17. Someone from admin will read this and ask for the person who wrote this to contact them. If I felt I could talk to admin and be taken seriously, I wouldn't be on Glassdoor. Plus, no good has ever come from their "open door" policy. Nothing changes.
