Pros

Used to be a fairly decent brand, but the decline is in full motion.

Cons

BearingPoint is out of touch with the market. Most likely you will be carrying out the work that other consulting firms already mapped out; software implementations in boring locations. Training is non-existent and compensation is well below other players in the industry. If you're looking for consulting experience, look elsewhere. Cocky management that is prepared to backstab you anytime.

Pros

Good company hardware (lightweight laptops/iPhones) Projects across a variety of sectors (FS/Automotive/Utilities/Defence) Opportunities to get exposure to proposal work Strong brand in France/Germany

Cons

Company struggling to sell work Above average churn for a consultancy Management lacks the ability to provide honest and timely feedback coupled with a blame culture Poor salaries/rises and £0 bonus Heavy IT technology focus despite claiming to offer business strategy as a service

Pros

Discovering new industries is each time very challenging. Being in a very competitive environment pushes you to develop your skills.

Cons

No time for personal life, they make you work like hell and are not rewarding you for the evenings you spend at their client. With the economic crisis, you spend more time at the HQ surfing on the internet rather than at the client.
