      Fellow coworkers are great

      Cons

      Most managers (but not all) have double standards. Nurses and aids are treated unfear/ being abused/ worked to death.

      Some Managers Here May Bully You

      Your fellow co workers bring a friendly atmosphere of a small town to the work place.

      Cons

      Management. Threatening or intimidation style of behavior that is dismissive of your emotions and reactions. They really don't care about you as a human being.

      Pros

      Location/a close drive for the locals.

      Cons

      A workload is enormous. Working atmosphere is unhealthy. A huge turnover among the nurses.

Over the last couple of years we have worked hard to improve our nursing staff to patient ratio and our nursing turnover rate is below the industry average. We are currently on a Journey to Excellence to achieve Magnet status and we have a very active and engaged nursing shared governance.
