Pros

Sleep in your own bed if local, good pay if you don’t want to leave home. Steady work. Took 4 years but finally received RRSP matching of 4 percent

Cons

No long term/short term benefits. No true career advancement structure. 4 years in, no pay adjustment for inflation. No paid sick days. Ministry of Labor played big part in ensuring we were getting paid right after 3 years of be wronged. If you don’t run a Jumbo or Scoop, you are an after thought. Client had to step in in a big way to babysit safety and standards.
