Pros

some positions offer highly interesting stuff and promising career perspectives especially for those who are willing to be recruited by European institutions. great work/life balance

Cons

BDF lost several of its prerogatives, the most recent being banking supervision which is now in the hands of the European Central Bank. hence career perspectives are less rosy
