The work culture is quite heavy, focused on finding blame, which creates a toxic environment where colleagues often undermine each other to get ahead. This leads to high employee turnover and a noticeable lack of motivation. Although I found some good and collaborative people, most of the toxicity comes from the upper levels, which inevitably affects low levels.
When I first joined my team, there were about 12 members, but within the same year, 7 of them, talented and professional individuals, resigned for the same reasons. Additionally, Instead of waking up motivated to focus on my tasks, I often found myself dreading the day, worry with protecting myself from the hostile work environment. On top of that, working long hours is constantly demanded. While exceptions are understandable, it should not become a norm which is the case here.
If you are a developer or team lead planning to join the integration team, I strongly advise you to reconsider if you value your mental health and well-being. The opportunities for growth are practically nonexistent, and while the compensation might seem appealing, it does not outweigh the mistreatment you may experience here. You won't be able to change the system.
