Pros

The CEO is a nice guy and has vision for company. They create excellent products, and you get discounts. They offer lunch time pilates classes for fee. The products made really do change people's lives. The people who work in the warehouse portion of the company are really great. They are genuinely nice.

Cons

Company corporate culture is passive aggressive. Promotions are based on seniority and not merit. Company suffers from horrible management and lack of leadership. Management crowd sources for idea and doesn't give credit to the source. Management will say anything to please the CEO and then throw you under the bus. No transparency and bad communication from management. There is little room for growth, once you are pegged into box you cannot grow out of that.

Pros

- easy - management doesn’t pay attention to what you do on your computer if you’re not busy - can work out on Pilates equipment at lunch time & take inexpensive Pilates classes offered throughout the day on your lunch

Cons

- sitting in a cubicle for 8 hours - not much around the area to keep you occupied at lunch time or breaks - was promised a much higher “salary after commissions” than achievable. I was one of very few who hit their quota, and still wasn’t making nearly as much as was promised. - not very understanding of personal issues outside of work - if short staffed, will drop lunch down to 30 minutes without notice - not a real sales position - everything is pretty much based on luck. People call in to buy equipment which they are already sold on. The only “sales” part is trying to upsell them, but even then you’re only making 0.55% off each sale. - management is salary and therefore leaves whenever they feel like, aka not always available for assistance - extremely unorganized
