Like any start-up, there are some drawbacks:
- In the past, the team wasn't always sure what the roadmap was to achieve our ambitious goals, which was not helped by learning how to work remotely mid-pandemic. However, after some restructuring and much focus from leadership, the team is now much more clear and aligned on our goals and how to get there.
- Sometimes there are resource constraints for everything that needs to get done, which can feel overwhelming, but it also means that everyone is working on things that really matter. Especially at the senior level, the amount of responsibility the leadership team takes on means it's sometimes hard to push things forward, but this is something they are aware of and are hiring to try and remediate. As more middle management and individual contributors join the company, it will also become easier for leadership to focus on strategy and growth, and let their teams focus on delivery.
