Pros

The day you do not work there anymore

Cons

Very high pressure customer sales, corporate says they want you to focus on customer service but the message in the field is very different. There is a high turn over rate of the sales field and there is pressure to over promise on what the technology can actually do. Sales training is pretty bad, needs a lot of improvement and could be condensed into a shorter time period. They have burned so many bridges with dental professionals and have such bad customer service many new reps visiting offices for the 1st time are asked to leave, but not before the dentist tells them of their horror story of buying a laser for $50K+, using it once and the equipment sitting in the corner for years.

Pros

Like everyone said, great product/technology but HORRIBLE management.

Cons

I'm pretty sure the recent positive reviews on here are created by management who is having a tough time filling positions at the company. Here's an idea... STOP MISTREATING EMPLOYEES AND LETTING GO PEOPLE WITH POTENTIAL! You wouldn't have to post fake reviews on here if you got your act together. (Come on, when 90% of the reviews are negative and all the sudden the most recent reviews are abundantly positive and lengthy... People know you're trying to cover up the mess that is BIOLASE) There's a reason why this company has such a high employee turnover rate. Management doesn't know how to take care of their employees and nurture them. They're too busy playing politics and belittling their employees. Middle management are trying to keep their positions by getting rid of everyone below them who they see as a "threat". It's no wonder they keep drowning in their own misery, they're too afraid that someone else can do better than them. Instead of getting rid of great employees, learn from them and acknowledge their hard work. It's ok to have overtime on occasion but when overtime is the norm because you can't manage your time then it's not a healthy environment. I ignored the reviews here before accepting my position at BIOLASE. Guess I should've listened.

Pros

Great hard-working employees that believe in the technology and want to succeed in the market. Strong desire to want to turn the sinking ship around on competition and market.

Cons

Leadership does not provide practical strategy, tactical plan, or accountability for false promises thereby leading to burn out employees and turnover who do not see light at the end of the tunnel. On its third CEO, second CMO, and second CFO in the last three years.
