Constantly Changing Unstable Corporate / Very Political
Pros
Employees within divisions of BG are the saving grace - 5 of 5 stars. In spite of corporate, regional leadership teams continue to try and raise morale of employees. Division presidents and VP's attempt to hire well-qualified, experienced employees, but retention is difficult due to a lack of training and constant change/reorganization - plus corporate interferes. Division employees try to create fun-loving atmospheres and regional leadership teams work to create a culture of success but the goals are not achievable with very high turnover.
Cons
Theres a reason why BG Staffing is experiencing a significant drop in short interest and shortsold shares - corporate. Corporate evolves continuously, promoting the same person up the ladder in spite of failure. Ppersonal relationships matter more than merit,skill or talent. Corporate is ignorant of what made divisions successful before she was appointed, and continues to undermine years of sustained organic growth. Divisions that were thriving are failing to achieve minimal goals. To boost financials, in 2018 there were more buyouts of competitors, more reorganization, and lots of demotions/layoffs. it was just an illusion of success. Morale suffers as corporate leadership continues to micromanage at deepest levels of the divisions. Sales, HR, Training, Management, Marketing, and Technology are not in the same league as our staffing competitors who the same services within industries served by BG Staffing. The CEO is trying to run all divisions the same,a failing effort at consistency. Attempting to create a single company vs. a large group of independent, successful organizations. Success will always be built upon the relationships created between the employees of the divisions and their specific industries served. Changing names and logos doesn't help and the website creates competition between divisions.
