Pros

Nothing really. Better hospitality groups to work for.

Cons

Corporate is heavily involved in each property and micro manages everything. No company culture. Azul is stingy with their money. They don’t care about any of the properties (most of them being Marriott brands).

Pros

There is much to learn here in terms of responsibilities, processes, and understanding the reality of employees. Watching staff struggle while those at the top enjoy lavish lifestyles, spending on unnecessary luxuries, is shocking and disheartening.

Cons

Most employees are paid shockingly low salaries. Staff have been mistreated, undervalued, and underpaid for far too long. Management even tries to avoid paying or delays PTO without consequence. Leadership has no sense of how much employees suffer because they are never the ones facing complaints or grievances directly.
