Pros

Flexible timing. Salary they offer is more than the market standard. So be shameless while salary negotiation if you get an offer.

Cons

1) Incompetent Management: Neither the managers can help the engineers technically nor can they manage the project properly. Some of them even don't know how to write a mail to the client. They never update themselves about the current status of the project. If anything goes wrong then the entire blame is pinned on the engineers. 2) Pune Chennai tussle : They have three branches across the country, in Pune, Chennai and Bangalore. Among the three, the Pune and the Chennai branch are always at loggerheads to get a project. The two managements fight between themselves. And at the end, most of the time the Chennai branch gets all the development projects and the Pune location is left away with menial manual QA work or sometimes automation QA work. 3) Rampant backscratching: The management is extremely biased and partial towards some of the employees whose single duty is just plain boot-licking. 4) And all of the above happens because the CEO doesn't involve himself in the day-to-day matter of the company. He stays in the US and visits once or twice a year and talk to the employees (and then nothing actually happens, by the way) and fires some people from the Pune location alone. No one gets fired from the Chennai branch, provided that they are equally incompetent, if not more. 5) After this review is posted you would at least 10 to 20 positive reviews about the company. Don't get fooled, those are posted by the marketing and HR team and they are good in this only.

Pros

Good Pay until your appraisal is done. After appraisal, my in-hand salary becomes less. Consider an example, I have some package which is fixed and no variable pay. After appraisal, hike is 1% (After working on weekends, late nights calls, lapsing leaves which they didn't allow you to take, working on holidays, etc.). So, package might increase around 20K. Then they introduce 1 LPA variable (20K from annual hike + 80K from my existing CTC which is fixed before appraisal), which is paid half yearly. So, my in hand salary becomes less after appraisal. And 1 more fun fact, a new clause added to my employment as below: In case, if you leave the company within 12 months of receiving of the variable, you will have to return the amount earned till date. So, If I leave the company at any point of time, I have to pay back my 1 LPA variable which was never there before my appraisal. I think it is there tactics, now the project is over and they didn't have more project. Instead of firing employees, they mentally torture employees like this so they leave the organization themselves.

Cons

Less Project Too much work load No work life balance No appreciation Negligible annual hike
