Pros

- You learn a lot how not to do things in business - You will meet a bunch of cool people but sadly they do not stay there for too long - Office Management and HR really tries to make you feel welcome and good there

Cons

Oh where do I start... This place sucks out your happiness and crushes your soul so you stop believing in yourself and do not think you deserve anything better. A company with a strong Turkish management that covers for each other. Sadly quite a lot of misogynistic approach. If you are a strong woman that is not a place for you. There was a history of a girl that was removed from the company by the board of directors decision for being a bad influence for reporting her manager for sexist remarks. Quite disappointing in 21st century in one of the most tolerant countries in the world. They are not to be trusted, you are just an asset that they will not hesitate to get rid of if your manager feels like you are too strong willed or have much more experience in something compared to him. They thrive in lying and manipulating people and their surrounding. If your team lead did something damaging for the company be sure that his upper management will cover for him and try to push the fault on someone in his team. As interesting as it sounds from the outside this company is really not a good place. People are an expendables and the turnover of employees is really high. Every single week at least one person leaves the company. They underpay and mistreat people on a regular basis...

Pros

None. Nill. Not a one.

Cons

I lasted a little over two years at Azerion and worked for two teams. The first was diverse with people from all around Europe. Aside from the company's widely reported problems, which you can read about elsewhere, it was tolerable. And then I was moved to another team. All Dutch with a Turkish senior manager. Things changed overnight. My nationality was routinely mocked and so was my accent. I was repeatedly confronted with difficult questions about politics and the expat community even though I didn't consider myself an expat. I had to endlessly listen to snide remarks about me, in Dutch, from my new colleagues. I went to management about the problem as well as HR. Nothing was done. I was told this was just 'Dutch directness' and to get used to it. However, when I was equally 'direct' with my Dutch colleagues, they were typically very annoyed and even angry with me. I was called rude and told to go back to my own country after a slight comment about a loud party my neighbours held on a work night. The final straw was when I made a comment about my difficult daily commute. 1.5 hours, one way, to Azerion's office on a train and bus from Schiphol. An upper level manager told me to 'go buy a car if I didn't like it' before laughing at me. This person was given a company car for their own commute, which was half the length of mine. Their petrol was even paid for by the company. Their salary was over twice what I was making, too! They could afford a car, I could not, but Azerion literally bought one for them!!!! I have since returned to my native country where I'm making much more money and work with people who like and respect me at a company a million times better than Azerion. What an awful, awful organisation! I deeply regret the months I wasted at that deeply rotten company. I hope it goes bankrupt (inevitable), and soon, if only for the sake of its lower tier staff. They all deserve better. Much better!

Pros

There aren’t any. Seriously. Run away, far, far away.

Cons

Looking to sell your company? Azerion looking to acquire? Care more about what you’ve created than a big fat shareholder windfall? Then stop reading now and just find another investor. Any investor. The heart and soul will be ripped out of your company when Azerion tell you they want to ‘integrate’. What does ‘integrate’ mean? Nobody ever seems to know. All that will happen is Azerion will take on your profitable company, your staff will be let go, ‘admin’ permissions will be demanded for even the most incompetent of tech staff at Head Office and everything you worked to achieve will be gone, just to prop up a company that’s lost 90% of its share price in just over twelve months and where a co-CEO’s stepped down as they’re under investigation for share trading irregularities. They don’t treat their non-acquired staff much better. Whole teams randomly let go at the drop of a hat, managers suddenly on ‘long term sick’, never to be seen again… It doesn’t stop there either - Mandatory ‘all hands’ meetings called for such important matters like ‘we’re about to launch a new NFT and we’ve got you all here because we’d really like you to buy one and tell all your family and friends to buy one too’. Sound like something you want to be part of?
