Pros
Despite the little time I remained in the property once they were given leadership, they had presented, yet not executed, ideas for the hotel team and property as a whole.
Cons
They had made swift decisions, with limited interaction with the candidates involved, that resulted in significant changes. I appreciate they had to pay their management fee, but had not taken the time to understand the incremental benefits of the salaries they had let go. Prior to this process, I had little to no interaction with this team to inform them of what was needed, to fast track making the money that would have paid for the roles they let go.
