1. Avon acquired the helmet and body armor business from 3M who acquired the business from Ceradyne. Ceradyne was a huge name in the business with a great reputation. In the 3 years since the acquisition from 3M, Avon has destroyed the body armor business. Congrats Avon, that's a hard thing to do and you pulled that off flawlessly. 2. Either the experienced people left when the company's stock dropped significantly or they have been let go. So, no experienced people left in the armor and helmet division. 3. Management has no idea what they are doing. 4. No strategy for digging themselves out of the hole they dug. Don't take my word for it. Google Avon Protection and hit the "News" button. 5. Micromanagement seems like a company value. 6. Expect to work 7 days a week for managers who have no idea what they want or how to get it.

Micromanagement, disorganized, firefighting problems, and working hard will produce more work rather than promotions/recognition. Leadership team at site has no direction and leadership team at corporate changes their message every quarter. It took years to get training I was promised due to the constant panic environment. Expected to be on call 24/7 in an environment that is not inclusive to diverse backgrounds.
