Pros

Some down time in between tasks. Free coffee.

Cons

Management has no human relations skills and will belittle you. Extremely low pay with no raises for years with excellent performance. Will deny you vacation time over and over again while the favorites get them. Very money hungry company and trying to monopolize and buy as many FBOs across the nation as possible. That’s why the low pay. Way too much drama with many two faced people. Extremely hot in the summer. Extremely cold in the winter and extremely wet while you have to work in the rain. You have connect a fuel nozzle to jet fuel ports 20 ft up on the wing and it’s connected to 300lbs of hose from the truck while standing on a 12 ft. Ladder about half the time. You have to chalk and un chalk every thing with wheels! The airport police pulls over fuel trucks and does random inspections and runs a check on the drivers per DEA. A&P ‘s are only wanted to sign off grounded aircraft by deferral. No maintenance is really learned. You are maintenance control’s puppet and you bear ALL the responsibility if something goes wrong including federal prison for not even half a Mechanics wage.

Pros

Flight benefits and the people you get to meet

Cons

Absolutely everything. The place is a joke, and I’m sure a HR rep is going to the the typical “I’m sorry for your experience. Please contact Hr to address”. Which means nothing because the HR department does absolutely nothing when a concern is brought to their attention. They tell you what you want to hear and sweep it under the rug. They hire managers that have ZERO experience in the field that we are in and think that it’ll fit. They could of been a manager of a gas station and they some how think it’ll be a good fit. What they FAIL to understand is just because someone has experienced none field of aviation means nothing to the passenger side of aviation. The “management” they put into play couldn’t even help out with working flights if they wanted to. But HR and upper management honestly could care less which is most likely because all “upper management” does is hire who they are friends with. The upper management don’t care about you. They will come in, not introduce themselves not take the time to talk with employees and just show the employees that they actually care. They come in yell and complain, talk to certain people like they are the scum on the bottom of their shoes then leave. To make it that much better our “upper management” has never even held the roles of station manager or anything to fully understand what we go through. They lie and say they have but the truth is already out there. Unfortunately you can’t hide behind it. It’s a absolutely trash company, and until the “HR” department actually does something to fix the issue it will continue.

Pros

Working with all different types of aircrafts and meeting different people.

Cons

Management is horrible. They do not care about you or your wellbeing. They will tell you to your face that you are replaceable. They are Mr.Crabs all they care about is making money.
