Pros

If you are looking to work with some great people this place is for you. Working remotely and flexibility.

Cons

This is the place for you if your: Looking to be under paid Looking for a company without any moral Looking for a company that meets and exceeds the yearly financial goal and gives employees a 1.5 cost of living increase. Looking forward to having your health insurance increase more then your cost of living increase Looking for a company that has no guidelines for "merit" increases Looking for a company that makes up the rules as they go along and changes them on a daily basis Looking for a company that wants loyalty from their employees and expects everyone to be happy "with what they get" Looking for a company that "presents" itself as "moving forward" yet upper management is very much stuck in the past Well this is the place for you!! - Welcome to Avania!!

Pros

The sole silver lining in Avania's oppressive environment is the rare, authentic bond between some colleagues, offering a sliver of resilience against the relentless toxicity that pervades the workplace.

Cons

Avania is plagued by leadership and HR practices that are both cold-hearted and devoid of empathy. Their relentless chase for profits has culminated in a toxic workplace environment, completely disregarding the profound effects on employee mental health and well-being. In a deceptive maneuver, recent layoffs were misleadingly presented as performance management, concealing Avania's severe financial distress. Meanwhile, executives continue to receive gross overcompensation, with the board of directors failing to hold them accountable. This strategy has not only driven numerous employees to take mental health leaves but also showcases a deeply rooted neglect for basic human decency and ethical behavior.

Pros

Some good project managers; work-from-home

Cons

You're better off jumping into a snake pit than working at this circus. Vicious, power-hungry managers, 12-hour days driving everyone crazy, no transparency from upper management, very little diversity, low pay vs other CROs. Most stressful experience of my life working myself to death and not being appreciated at all for it.
