Pros

Cant think of anything good to say

Cons

Current Technology senior leaders have poor management skills, lack staff empathy and cannot make appropriate strategic decisions. They have created a toxic environment where decisions appear to be discriminatory towards only their own agenda. The People Leaders are not encouraged to coach, develop or empower their staff or enable career growth. It is a toxic environment, where key leaders "scratch each other's backs" to get what they want. An announcement was made in April to offshore many Technology roles and to increase the partnership with an Offshore Provider based in India. Ever since then, the whole restructure program has been a balls up. Lack of information shared, incorrect information shared, squeezing more work on people remaining without giving them appropriate renumeration of job title changes, not informing the managers of the affected staff that their staff were being impacted, advertising roles under new offshore company even before the affected employees were notified, giving redundancy notification to staff who were on leave, and inadvertently making roles redundant "because they couldn't make their numbers meet offshore business case". The morale is low. There is no regard or empathy to how people are feeling or how they are being impacted by this transformation program. Already Indian based staff that have been hired are doing a less than satisfactory job, leaving existing staff stressed and frustrated. The company values are to be bold, warm, and honest, and it is far from it. It is meant to look after our "Employee Wellbeing" but has done the complete opposite.

Pros

The staff are mostly good people

Cons

The Senior Leadership team can't be trusted on face value (ie the GMs and their direct reports). They say one thing and do another. For example they brought in an outside company to assist with overflow, but once we had trained staff from the outside firm, we were made redundant and our jobs given to the outside firm.
