Pros
The owners and management of this privately held company recognize that their employees are the strength of the company and treat them accordingly: Compensation is maintained at market competitive (or above) levels as determined by periodic independent reviews; Employees are treated as professionals and are not micro-managed; Employees are provided the tools and support they need to achieve their goals and to grow personally and professionally. The atmosphere was at all times a positive team oriented one. I feel very lucky to have worked my final 20+ years (until retirement) with this company.
Cons
The "underlying business" is a dynamic technology-driven business requiring constant innovation and change. While working in such a business is exciting and rewarding, over the long term, constant change can become tiring when resources are constrained.

Pros
This is a well-run, family owned business that cares about their people. They have an open door policy and management is always open to hearing from all employees. They can't act on everything but do their best to foster a fun, energetic work environment. Most people that work here build lasting friendships with their co-workers that extend beyond their job. There are plenty of new things going on to keep everyone energized and engaged.
Cons
There have been several changes to the health coverage over the last few years that have caused some confusion. The current plan seems to work well.
