      Good Experience to learn the New Industry

      Pros

      Decent pay and benefits, nice building and luncheon areas.

      Cons

      Young Management team, very micro managed and clock watchers with regards to when you come in the morning and when you leave (to avoid overtime) Service was 24/7 - so if you had OT from the weekend or evening calls during the week, on pay cut off day, they'd send you home early to avoid OT - another note: very clickey - if the majority didn't click with you, you were typically left out of invites for drinks after work, lunches, or extra curricular things, unless it was for the good of the company; then you were expected to be there.

      Pros

      Having been in the signage industry for many years, I find Atlas Sign Industries to be a nice balance between the feel of a privately owned family business and a large corporation. The management team does care about their employees and recognizes the importance of work/life balance. A perfect example is that our CEO knows the hobbies of my children. He has taken the time to know me as a person and not just a number. The signage industry can be unique and strenuous at times, but Atlas does streamline the process with various internal resources available (In-house permit team, multiple fabrication facilities, open door policy with managers).

      Cons

      Every company has challenges to overcome, but the open-door policy with management does aid in overcoming any obstacle that may arise.
