Pros

Remote work for LIMS staff, PTO is good for full time employees, projects can be interesting

Cons

Your experience is entirely dependent on your client. Your bonus is entirely dependent on your client. If you have a bad client, you have to deal with it or risk getting low billable hours. Personally my client was horrible, abusive of our time, and didn’t know the basics of the LIMS they were working with. I put up with it in order to get a bonus but that’s not healthy. If we can bill the client, all else is fine. That’s hard for some to get used to.
