Pros

Work from home, PTO & Benefits

Cons

Extremely stressful, the workload is way too large, and the expectations are too high. It is horrible for your mental health. Some individuals in management are demeaing which is difficult to deal with when you are overworked and overstressed (although you should not have to deal with that type of behavior in any circumstance). I would seriously consider your ability to manage unrealistic expectations and micromanaging before considering/applying a position.

We are deeply sorry to hear about your experience and we do hope you took the opportunity to escalate your concerns to Executive Leadership and to Human Resources before moving on. We need to go through the appropriate channels so we can provide coaching or additional support where needed. We sincerely value our employees and we want to ensure that everyone has the tools and resources to do jobs well, and without unnecessary stressors. While we do understand that our field can be demanding, we do want to make sure that you have a manageable workload and the right support.

Pros

There are many pros to working for Array remotely! I love being in the comfort of my home and not not having to commute anymore! However, I never feel alone and always have constant support and interaction with leadership, peers through weekly meetings, treatment teams, consultations, communication with psychiatrist regarding consumers, clinician success team to help with basically anything, tech support, free CEU’s, trainings, resources, and care navigators helping you with client referrals, scheduling, ect. Also, Array has Virtual Socials, mindfulness sessions, and other wellness opportunities that are offered with intent to care for their staff. My job gives a feeling of having a private practice but with a wraparound support that makes being a therapist even more enjoyable than being alone in an office! Array has chosen excellent leadership that have kind hearts and a ton of knowledge that I truly appreciate and continue to learn from. Quality employees that value unity, collaboration, diversity and culture are Array’s priority to provide individualized, healing care to our consumers. Although I work remotely, I have never felt closer to a group of people I have worked with! And It is the culture of Array that makes this possible!

Cons

I honestly do not see this as a con, however there is current growth in Array that is intended to help a larger range of people that would not otherwise have the opportunity to get mental health services, and with growth comes growing pains and challenges that are not only temporary, but managed with teamwork, thoughtfulness and appreciation of those who are helping support Array’s mission.

Thanks so much for this great review, and for working through some of our growing pains. It is not always easy to see an immediate impact of the work we do. When we take a step back and look at the big picture, really taking into account how many people need our services right now and how lives are transformed through our amazing clinicians and our administrative support staff, everything really comes into perspective. We truly value the therapy services you provide and the contributions you make to our dynamic work culture. Thank you for all you do!

Pros

Promising telehealth company with rapid growth and decent starting pay.

Cons

High staff turnover unless company starts retaining the employees they've already hired and carefully screened. Array really needs to make their 401k match guaranteed (not the current "discretionary" match) and min 3% match in order to be competitive. Also, please offer yearly raises and make reaching the bonus more realistic. Currently, in order to reach even a partial bonus, you have to work way beyond the 32 or 40 hour/week requirement (for full-time). Hard to earn a bonus because of the high number of no shows (partially due to a very unreliable EHR system). Taking PTO should not be held against your ability to earn a bonus (if you take time off, the only way you can earn bonus is to make up the hours you took off; this just doesn't make sense).

We appreciate your candid feedback. We are always looking to grow and improve as a clinical practice. It's feedback like this that allows us to understand from our clinician's perspectives and what can drive our organization to make changes. We understand the stress of being a full time clinician, and we hope offering full time status with benefits, a strong community and culture and bonuses help to create a positive work environment. We are always evaluating ways to help the therapists feel supported and heard, so please don't hesitate to continue sharing your feedback with your CSM's and clinical leaders. We sincerely thank you for all you do here at Array!
