Pros

It allows me to pay the bills. Low level staff are generally very nice. Larger regional firm that offers a wide variety of services.

Cons

Know price of everything and value of nothing. Staff receive base market level remuneration and loyalty is not rewarded. Very clique at top like old boys club who also look after a few of their pals lower down the firm.

Pros

There are some nice people at the firm. Flexible start and finish times.

Cons

Never had any real training while I was at the firm, salary stayed the same the entire time that I was there, wasn’t offered any career progression, never had any formal appraisal. I felt undermined and was treated as though I was incompetent, despite being told that the quality of my work was good. The salary just wasn’t competitive.
