- Overtime is a norm, most people work 9-10 hours a day w/o being compensated - CEO Hisham behaves rudely with employees, treats them like crap & exploits them - He loves to play blame games & views those more competent than him as a threat

Healthy work-life is most important to Arkhitech work culture which is ensured in our daily working routine at every step. We definitely do not encourage late sittings however if there is any critical delivery or resource wants to complete their tasks, we facilitate them best by dinner food reimbursements. Further, we have a check-in/check-out system and the report is shared with an employee on a monthly basis whereby employees generally average 9 hours of office time. This seems to come from an employee who himself just to get to another place lied about serious medical case of his family, and then abruptly left causing financial and professional damage. This particular employee was hired on an ethical training agreement as he had potential but was struggling in his career with working at odd companies. The employee struggled with his in-house deliverables for over two months, but then finally added to a client-facing project afterward. Suddenly the employee shared their desire to quit as he was having family medical issues. His resignation was approved and relaxation given on notice period to be just two weeks to allow for transitioning of resource in the client project. Nonetheless, the employee left on the first day of the month thinking and later we came to realize that he had lied about family medical issues as we got a screening request from a company where he got the job because of the paid training received. We shared unethical deceiving behavior of employee with the company and he was extremely mad about getting exposed and use the anonymous social platform like these to malign the company image.

Pros

- Free Lunch & Tea/Coffee etc. - Focus on use of emerging development tools - Co-operative colleagues - Market comparable salary

Cons

- Below average facade A small office housed in ground floor rooms of CEO's home. - Unrealistic timelines to be followed and getting demoralized as you fail to follow them - Uncomfortable work environment CEO sits among employees to keep an eye on them, making impossible for them to feel free and relaxed. - Due to absence of proper team hierarchy, CEO himself is lead of every project going on. He improvises in each and everything. But in the end you are blamed for all the bugs/flaws and success credit goes to him and his expertise. - Contract clauses are not meant to be followed. CEO’s verdict is the final word. - Paid leaves are a deception. Your salary gets deducted against leaves taken.

A mix of truth with falsifying a few key facts is a surely a deceptive way to achieve the ill intensions. Having CEO eat and sit with team members would be seen by many as a positive environment where CEO is highly approachable and assistive. However, for non-performers who just want to pass the day with no productive work done, this can be taken in the wrong way as they don't have much to add. Paid leaves are paid and salary gets deducted on excessive leaves taken only. This is nothing extra-ordinary. Contract clauses are also followed. Advise to the reviewer (if they really are former employee) is to reflect internally and get rid of mediocracy mindset. Learn to challenge yourself and achieve something bigger rather than saying 'timelines' are unrealistic. In general, all team members have had less than 1% time spent on 'forced' late sittings, but some prefer to sit late and get more work done.

Pros

If this company is the last option for you then join this.

Cons

HR is a mouth-piece of CEO . You can not even talk when boss is present in the hall. He will shout at you at any time when he will not OK. He has temperament issues, He need to learn some ethics how to talk with employees. Be prepared for some bad comments from the BOSS everytime. Mostly he will give you example that this work can be done by my COOK. You will not be allowed to left office before 3 month notice or handover 3 month salaries otherwise BOSS will send you Notice from courts. Cheap management by HR's

Sorry to hear your experience annon but I want to assure you that you are missing certain things out here. Arkhitech is providing best and best working environment to its employees. Your feedback is noted and we have utmost respect for your perspective about the company but please note that not every one has the same experience. HR department is a bridge between you and management and they are facilitating the team as per their needs best and you need to understand that HR people has to facilitate both parties. Having said that policies like agreements are signed with conditional bonuses OPTED and they are always OPTIONAL NOT FORCED. Once you have signed , there is ethical and legal obligation definitely to stand by to that agreement. Other than that there is no such 03 month obligation applied and you can leave with standard 01 month notice period which people have been doing when they decided to make the careers shifts. You need to take the guidance provided by the CEO as in your favor by utilizing the best of his and your time and grab the learning experience as much as you can. One has to be tolerant enough to stand by to the criticism provided. Better to discuss your grievances with HR first rather than putting your heart out on these platforms, as HR might be able to help you out if you are facing any difficulty adapting to the policies of the company. Please remember every employee is part of the family and very dear to the company. Cheers :)
