Pros

There are some nice people. Most lack common sense and don't know how to do their jobs.

Cons

Horrible leadership, lack of accountability, impatient, rude, toxic work environment, sweat shop mentality, lack of respect, lack of training, lack of common sense, no communication, laughs at losing millions yet OK with 401 contributions being cut, company has no organization, no mission, no vision, no core values, if you take time off you're expected to work double to make up the work that came in while off, infuriating, and just a bunch of selfish egoistical selfish whiney people. There is a disconnect between every level of the company. CEO thinks things are "great" when company scored one of lowest ever with a well known and respected survey organization. Relationship between leader and employee allows for favoritism.

Pros

Located in a great city. Employees have a good family bond

Cons

NO room for advancement, work PMs too hard with unrealistic expectations and no benefit to stick around. Constantly changing process, management will not listen to seasoned PMs advice.

Pros

I've spent two decades in the sign industry, and I can say from experience that AGI is a company that gets it right. Management is well organized and professional, which is rare in the sign industry. They uphold honorable principles, and put people first. What they do makes sense. I've seen them be very patient with difficult employees (including me at times), and they always give graciously when there is a need. The CEO and most company executives keep financial and business practices visible and above-board. You feel like you are part of the team, and no one is hiding anything. Every company says they are a "family" but at AGI, it really is in deed, not just in words. When they see promise, good attitude, and aptitude in a person, they will work to ensure they are developed and promoted. I was fairly high up in this company, and was involved in many meetings and conversations the average employee is not privy to, and I can say that I never heard or saw anything that gave me concern or caused me to lose respect for AGI. Looking back, I can say working for AGI was a great education and experience.

Cons

AGI asks a lot from their employees, and I personally had a bad work/life balance due to too much work and travel. As with most sign companies, there is cross-departmental blaming and banter. Due to such strong employer loyalty, some long-time employees have stopped being teachable, and can be drag on the team.
