Pros

Apollo Interactive is a GREAT place to start your career in the digital marketing space. I recommend this to all entry / jr. level developers. - Great people to work with, team is easy going and communicates well. Everyone is approachable and idea sharing is not uncommon. - There is a lot to learn in this industry that will complement your development skills in a very positive way. Learned much about coding (of course) as well as email marketing, implementing and running digital marketing tests, lead generation, landing page optimization, conversion rate optimization, etc. - Developers get paid lunch meetings every 2 weeks. During these meetings, we get to share and learn about current development trends. - Since this is a small company, you get the opportunity to work closely with the programmers, search marketers, account managers & affiliate managers. Due to this, there is rarely any communication problems. - Work life balance is great - Company is growing - 15min ping pong breaks - 4 Beer kegs on tap, all you can drink after 5:30pm, everyday.

Cons

- Not enough new projects to work on, usually work on maintaining and improving the same ones. - Not a design oriented agency, heavier on the programming side — although it is slowly changing with the addition of a great Art director! - There is always Bud Light taking up one of the kegs.
