Pros

Free doctors and prescriptions. Otherwise not much for a reasonably intelligent and hard working individual. Overtime when available. Some trustworthy colleagues.

Cons

Bullying a major issue. Incompetent managers who lack professionalism, tact, diplomacy and the wherewithal to address bullying in the workplace. Nepotism. Inept and unwilling Union representation. HR an absolute disgrace.

Pros

Job security not much else

Cons

Managers picked for ability to brown nose. Ability not an option. Company and union too close. Any dissenters are promoted out of way. Union spouse and children welcome before others esp if union negotiator. Very bad morale. Job casualised and full time staff being bullied out of company in favour of part time casual. Managers in mail centres and GPO paid for nothing. If asked to write account of their duties most wouldn't get past first paragraph.management protects management bullying is endemic. In mail centre sexual harassment is tolerated by management indeed some of the worse culprits are managers.a sad company ,

Pros

Not really any pros, if you like to cruise through the day doing as little as possible then this is the company for you.

Cons

Terrible communication between management and employees. Management like to keep employees in the dark as much as possible. Reactive attitude to everything, no forward planning or thinking. Most of the time management don't know what they're doing. Very Poor salaries. The small percentage of employees that actually do work don't get rewarded or encouraged to make progress with their career.
