Pros
It gave me a paycheck Management I had was nice but was hardly ever there. Maybe was at store 4 out out 30 days of the month and only worked physically in store for 6 hours or less. the rest they worked from home.
Cons
-Zero management around when needed. -Only has one employee working at a time unless a b day party is at the store. -Had zero paper towels, toilet paper, and soap for the bathroom and was told to buy and bring in our own because they had no budget for it. -Locks were constantly broken and never were replaced. The phrase I heard when I complained and showed (whatever) management graced us to be there that day said "if I can open it (after frustratingly trying to prey it open for 2 minutes) then customers can as well. -All complaints went unrecognized and never went to improve the store. -Most of the rules seemed to punish employees because ONE employee screwed up in the past and now everyone else suffers for it as well. - Biggest problem I saw was ("UNLESS") if you were in corporate then pretty much the minor rules such as "no being on your phone" "no leaving the store if you are the only employee there" and many more stuff they take for advantage over non corporate members, then they could do pretty much what ever they wanted and got no problems. -One such problem was if were zero customers some employees read books until someone walked in, WRONG! "that distracts you from customers" (said one corporate manager) another one an employees was knitting a scarf, WRONG AGAIN "that distracts you from customers" (said the same corporate manager. Now imagine same corporate manager who is the only one who is a super sports fan and I saw because no one deletes computer search history was playing Fantasy Football Draft and playing for multiple hours when no customers were around. -Corporate I heard (at least what from what management I heard) can work from home as often as they like and if they wanted to check in on their stores they can just go on their phone and look threw the security cameras they had set up and call that good enough. -Super high employee turn over rate (60 to 80% turn over rate) Saw multiple employees quit with in the same week and management says "they are too lazy to work such an easy job". Well here's something: if you are constantly over worked, rules put against you to make your job easier, having to do everything by your self with zero help and having zero support from management of any kind and worked minimum wage with no bonuses or tips allowed, then you try working for the embodiment of Mr. Krabs from Spongebob!
