Pros
Everything about my experience at AIDT has been great. From the support I've received when needing training to the willingness to provide the tools to get the job done, this is a great job. The entire staff was welcoming from the start, and you don't have to look far to find an answer when you need help. Great flex-time schedule with half-days on Fridays, plenty of holidays, vacation, and sick-time!
Cons
While this is head and shoulders above most government bureaucracies, there are still signs of government overreach lurking in the shadows (tenured staff that provide no real value to the team, lack of incentive for a job well-done, etc.). Like I mentioned these flaws are much less noticeable than in most government agencies due to the proactive leadership and great support for our mission.
