Pros
The office and warehouse teams are great. Nice people that are helpful and generally kind to one another. Modern offices that are in decent repair. Great IT department keeps software up-to-date, constantly monitoring and maintaining the servers. Engineering team is a great group of people working to improve the products and create new ones.
Cons
There is a distinct culture of bullying from the top down. Top management are often rude and overbearing to their employees. They assign blame quickly without knowing all of the facts. It is apparent that only their opinions matter, and the rest of the staff must fall in line or face termination. Top management often fail to correct problems that come from department heads or team leaders, instead placing blame on the rest of the employees. The office and warehouse teams are overworked and underpaid, as they deserve much more credit and appreciation than they get for their efforts. Office and warehouse employees are not paid enough for their efforts, knowledge, or experience, with little to no improvement or increase over time. There is no overtime pay, despite how many hours put in. There is very little promotion from within. Outside hires often come in without product or procedure knowledge, putting a great burden on the teams they are over. The system of Key Performance Indicators is often misleading, unfair, and weighted to reflect too much extra work for too little reward. If one thing is missed, the entire KPI line item is lost, rather than providing a percentage to reflect the actual work and effort.
