I worked at the company for more than 4 years. In my career, I helped scale my department and wore different hats proudly. The people, culture and mission were great. Until, ELT developed and the company culture turned into a political survival game. The CPO has created a culture of fear and distrust among everyone. Earlier this year, the company laid off 33 employees, among the 33 employees, were 4 long-term employees who helped scale the company. These individuals gained experience working on bipedal humanoids and obtained valuable information about the product. Chief Product Officer's and Director of Operation's ego was too large to see the value of these individuals.
It was disheartening to get laid off with my peers after so many years of hard work and great memories.
Additional note, the CEO is implementing Blackrock strategies. After all, she is part of the board.
